Jack Frost Frolic - Postponed

The Jack Frost Frolic is a two-person team challenge held on the North side of Sibley Park in Mankato, MN filled with snowy shenanigans, Tremendous Trickery and Mischievous Fun!

Jack Frost may give you a mug full of hot cocoa, but he is challenging you to keep it. Grab a teammate to partake in some mischievous fun. If your team makes it to the finish line with the most hot cocoa left in your mugs, you win! But your team must make it through all 4 fun challenges listed below.

Jack Frost Frolic Hat


All participants will receive a Jack Frost Frolic winter hat! 


Prizes awarded for:

• Best winter themed dressed team
• Most creative decked out sled
• Top 3 overall teams- most hot cocoa
• Team with the LEAST hot cocoa


1. Dash to the Hills

Partners race up the Sibley Park Hill pulling their decked-out sled while holding a Mug of hot cocoa.


2. SLED Showdown

Together on your team sled fly down the Sibley Park Hill while holding your Mug of Hot cocoa. 

3. Kayak Pull

Pull your partner, but look for snowballs that can be used to distract your opponents. Yup – holding your Mug of Hot Cocoa.

4. SnowShoe Scramble

Grab your snowshoes or use some of ours as you and your partner scramble to the finish but watch for the snowballs and don’t forget your MUGS

Event Check in – 8am

Deck your Sled 
Sleds will not be provided for the sledding portion of the team challenge. Come to the event with your sled already “decked-out”

SnowShoes — Snowshoes provided or you have the option to bring your own

Dress for the Weather

$60 per two-person team by 12/31/19
$80 per two-person team by 1/15/20
Registration closes midnight 1/15/20


Teams will be put into heats of 15 teams. Heats will start at:
9:00 am
9:35 am
10:05 am
11:35 am
12:05 pm
12:35 pm
