The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center is the anchor of the Mankato City Center Campus. It is one of the Midwest’s Premier centers for conventions, meetings, banquets and entertainment. The facility is idea for groups of any size with an arena that has concert capacity for up to 6,500, banquet/exhibit hall, conference rooms, historic reception hall and brand new multi-use auditorium.

The versatile and comfortable facility is located in the heart of the City Center, southern Minnesota’s hub for sports, entertainment, history and culture. The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center offers every organization a functional environment that accommodates everything from large trade shows and conventions to smaller company meetings. With a number of meeting rooms to choose from, the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center has the perfect space for any event.

With over 50,000 square feet of flexible exhibit space, the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center’s staff has all the ingredients to create an outstanding experience for every organization. The meeting rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment. For intimate occasions, the historic Reception Hall offers classic beauty and elegance. To ensure the success of every event an event coordinator helps with every step of the planning process and an event facilitator is available to offer assistance during the event.

The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center has all the necessary ingredients to create a successful meeting from equipment rental to on-site event facilitators to full-service catering. With a number of meeting rooms to choose from, the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center has the perfect space for every meeting.

The Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center’s Grand Hall, opened in fall 2016, is a flexible space with retractable first floor seating that accommodates a variety of events and is ideal for expos, trade shows, conventions, concerts and performances. This space can accommodate up to 2,000 people theater style, and up to 1,000 people with rounds. The Grand Hall also features two lobbies perfect for pre-function, registration or social hour space.

Cutting edge acoustics and a superb sound system make the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center Arena one of the finest in the country.With the flexibility to offer a variety of configurations, the multi-use arena hosts some of the hottest stars touring today and welcomes expos including the annual Southern Minnesota Home and Builders Show. The recently remodeled arena is home ice to Minnesota State University, Mankato Division I men’s hockey.

The City Center Hotel is locally owned and operated. The hotel is connected via skyway to the City Center Campus, which includes the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. The hotel has 150 rooms with a full service restaurant, lounge, indoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool and covered parking.

Banquet and meeting facilities are perfect for anything from a simple coffee and donuts breakfast meeting to a conference or an elegant sit-down wedding or anniversary for up to 400 people. The experienced staff is trained to take the worry out of any function. Nothing is overlooked. Whatever the special occasion, the catering department will make every effort to offer the right combination of delicious food, courteously served at a reasonable price.

Wireless internet throughout hotel, LCD Projector, audio-visual equipment, large overhead electrical-powered screens, overhead projectors, slide projectors, wireless PA system, lecterns, microphones, whiteboard, easels and direct phone lines are available, plus an extensive selection of conference equipment.

Principle banquet and conference rooms are located on the main floor of the hotel and may be used separately or collectively. The executive suite is located on the fourth floor of the facility. The generous conference lobby is a perfect setting for pre-function coffee breaks, cocktail parties or registration. For banquets, guests will love the spacious, outdoor atmosphere of the uniquely sky-lit poolside atrium area. This facility has 4,400 square feet of banquet area and 5,500 square feet of pool area. The City Center Hotel’s banquet and meeting facilities are accessible to people with disabilities. Convenient covered parking is available in the ramp below the hotel or in the covered ramp next door. The 101 Main Restaurant has a full service menu of traditional American food and drink. Customers enjoy a private dining area that works well for breakfast, lunch or dinner meetings. The trained staff is happy to work with customers to specialize the area for any celebration.

Courtyard by Marriott Hotel & Event Center features 93 guest rooms and 6,900 square feet of flexible meeting space to accommodate groups of 400+ people. Includes a private outdoor courtyard for seasonal functions of up to 350+ people, including lounge seating and a fire pit. The hotel is situated in the River Hills Mall Complex, with all rooms offering a flat screen TV with HDTV, indoor pool, whirlpool, on-site restaurant and bar, and FREE high speed wireless internet access. The hotel opened in October 2012 and was Minnesota’s first LEED/Green Hotel.

The event center at the Courtyard is ideally located, with space to accommodate meetings with 5 to 500 guests. Custom catering menus are provided by the executive chef for breakfast, lunch, dinner and more.

Courtyard offers free wireless internet throughout the property. It offers both green meeting space and technology expertise as well as in house catering and audio-visual.

Meeting rooms can accommodate 400+ guests in one room or can easily be broken down into four separate meeting rooms. The Courtyard also boasts an extra 3,200 square feet of break-out space on the Outside Courtyard. The brand new lobby features a Starbucks Coffee and the S-Bar to meet all your
