Indian Island Winery’s 10th Annual Grape Stomp will be held Saturday, September 14. There will be four heats of 20 grape stompers at 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm, and 3:30pm. Grape stompers will compete in groups of 2. There will be prizes for the top 4 groups. There will also be a costume contest for the best dressed group. The grape stomp times will be scheduled according to those who sign up first. You will be able to choose times until the heats are filled up. At that point, you will be scheduled where there are available spaces.

The Mankato Farmers Market has been in Mankato for over 40 years. Shopping at and supporting the farmers’ market circulates money within our community, helping to keep it strong. Local farmers and artisans at the market continue to help our community thrive by recirculating your wisely spent dollars. The main outdoor Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, through the second Saturday in October. Hours are 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Mankato Farmers’ Market is also open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The market is located at 1895 Adams Street in the Best Buy parking lot.

Business on Belgrade presents our miniature version of German heritage and fun. Join us for our 7th annual Bier on Belgrade located in the Central Business District of Historical and Unique Beautiful Lower North Mankato.

We will have a fun filled day of activities, food vendors, live music, Bier sampling from local and world renown brewery’s. Ceremonial first beer with city officials, bean bag toss and keg.

Then, head on over to Central Business District of Historical and Unique Beautiful Lower North Mankato for the 6th annual Bier On Belgrade! Feeling competitive and want to run/walk the 5K? Your race will be timed and you’ll be able to meet the rest of the group for your free post race beer after the event! All fitness levels welcome. Don’t feel like racing the full 5k? Sign-up for the .05k (a hot 54 yards!) and enjoy all the awesome perks and get your own little 30 second race to the beer garden!

The Mankato Makerspace hosts the Mankato Maker Market, a showcase and market of locally made or sourced arts, crafts, production and harvests! Hosted on the final Sunday of each month, the market will be your source for local, whether it be fine art, home decor, coffee, produce. Stop on down any time between 12-5 pm to check out the selection behind the Mankato Makerspace at 1700 3rd Ave. Rain days will be moved inside the Makerspace.

The Minnesota State University, Mankato (360° virtual tourMore Mankato icon Mavericks take on Winona State in a football match-up during the third annual Harvest bowl at Blakeslee Stadium. The start time is scheduled for 1 p.m. and a host of events and activities that lead up to the kick-off including tractors and other ag machinery, food drive, fun for the kids and more!
