Share your passion for your community at the new Greater Mankato Visitor & Community Information Center in the River Hills Mall. Greater Mankato Convention & Visitors Bureau & Greater Mankato Growth opened this center so that visitors and residents alike have a place to go to learn about what our community had to offer.
There are several perks for volunteering including, monthly tours of local attractions, coupons and a shirt after working 10 hours. Volunteers over 55 will receive supplemental insurance while volunteering and also may qualify to receive reimbursements for mileage.
As a Community Concierge you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge of the community while meeting new people (and bumping into old friends). Volunteers work 2-4 hour shifts, work alone or with a friend! The shifts are flexible - we are open Monday-Saturday 11:00 - 7:00 and Sundays 11:00 - 5:00. Training will be provided, customer service is the top priority. Basic computer skills are required.
