Tournaments & Facilities

Planning a sports event can be stressful, that's why the Greater Mankato Convention and Visitors Bureau is here to help.

From booking a premier facility to entertainment after the game, the staff at the Greater Mankato CVB has you covered. Their attention to detail has contributed to the success of many events including the Minnesota Viking’s Training Camp, North American Fastpitch Association World Series and the NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championship.

In addition to planning services, Greater Mankato features regulation facilities that rank second to none. Caswell Park hosts major baseball and softball tournaments on fields designed for the safety and comfort of sanctioned league players. The Verizon Wireless Center’s insulated ice floor allows rapid event turnaround between rink sports and those requiring other indoor surfaces. Recently completed on the campus of Minnesota State University Mankato, the Taylor Center is suitable for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling tournaments at the national collegiate level.

Other area facilities combine to provide year-round tournament options for swimming and all other indoor sports.
