With more than 100 stores, a food court, a carousel and a multi-screen movie theatre, the River Hills Mall is easily one of Mankato's biggest draws, and one of southern Minnesota's largest regional shopping centers.

Whether you're on a full-fledged shopping spree or just looking for necessities, you'll find what you need at the River Hills Mall. The 700,000-square-foot mall is anchored by Target, JC Penney, Sears, Scheels, Herbergers and Barnes and Noble; in-between you'll find everything from premiere men's retailer J. Long's and full-service salon/bar The Buzz, to clothing stores such as New York & Co., Coldwater Creek, Victoria's Secret, Buckle, American Eagle, Hollister, Gymboree and Aeropostale.

Mankato Heights Plaza

One of the newest additions to Greater Mankato's shopping districts features Old Navy, Pier One, T.J. Maxx, Michaels, Famous Footware and a wide array of other stores. Adjacent to the plaza are Kohl's

and Panera Bread. Conveniently located at one of Mankato's busiest intersections, there is sure to be something for everyone at the Mankato Heights Plaza.

The Historic Old Town District, which occupies most of North Riverfront Drive, is an area rich in history and charm. Several unique stores are housed in historic buildings dating back to the 1800s. The Madison East Center offers shoppers an inviting atmosphere to relax and shop in. Here you will find several unique stores, including Hang Ups, Lorraine Shop for bridal attire, Chlo's Connection clothing boutique. Spring and Fall antique shows exclusive to Greater Mankato are housed at the Madison East Center. And the Mankato Area Farmer's Market is in the Madison east parking lot during the spring and summer. Carnivals also visit the mall lot on occasion in the summer.
