The Kato Entertainment Center
is a historic ballroom conveniently located one
mile north of downtown Mankato. The beauty of
the 50's style neon lit facility will charm all
any guest. The Kato Entertainment Center specializes
in hosting groups of all sizes for banquets, dancing,
meetings and other festive events.
Services & Equipment
Experienced staff caters food
for groups up to 1200. Full bar and waitress service
is also available.
Facilities
The Kato has over 20,000 square
feet that can be set for banquets, auditorium
style for concerts, or classroom style for meetings.
The Ballroom area features a 76' x 63' floating
maple dance floor and is perfect for those special
night-out events that groups want to include in
their program. A permanent stage is great for
head tables, bands or other entertainment. The
Banquet Center offers a smaller venue or breakout
space from the Ballroom area. This area has its
own entrance, lobby area and coat room.
All areas are air-conditioned
and accessible to people with disabilities. The
Kato has a city block of free on-site parking
with convenient accessibility to both entrances.
