Hello there, this is your Greater Mankato Event Sales Director, Josh. After growing up in Maple Grove, MN, I first came to Mankato in 2001 to attend Bethany Lutheran College. I played four years of baseball there and received a degree in English with a Business Administration minor. I started at the CVB in June of 2011. My position here is to bring in new events and tournaments, assist with already established events and tournaments and create new events. When I am not working, I love to enjoy all the different sporting events that Mankato has to offer, whether it is supporting the Maverick hockey team, catching a Mankato MoonDogs game on a summer night or attending one of the many youth sports tournaments put on by our youth associations. I also started, manage and play for the Mankato Mets amateur baseball team. Aside from that, I spend time working out at a few different health clubs around the area. To have a good time with friends, I go downtown to enjoy the great night life Mankato has to offer. So if you have an event or tournament, want to start a new one or have any ideas of something that would be great for Greater Mankato, please let me know!
